Ceremony launches the School of Social Transformation Oct. 7
The School of Social Transformation brings together the strengths of four established academic programs of study at ASU: African and African American Studies, Asian Pacific American Studies, Justice and Social Inquiry and Women and Gender Studies. Together, we are forming transdisciplinary collaborations that will allow us to think in more complex ways about race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality and class and their intersections with questions of social, environmental and economic justice. Our focus is on the creation of transformational knowledge that will allow us to envision the future and achieve change that is democratic, inclusive and just.
